in any other way than by dancing..."

” My name is Angela Weyrauch. I am a senior at Boylan High School.

I have been dancing since I was three years old. This is my fourth year dancing for the

Forest Hills Dance Company. Throughout the past 14 years of my life, I have had a passion for dance.

The dance floor is my sanctuary…A place where I can go and let out all the emotions without saying one word.

 I have worked really hard to get as far as I have. I would not have been able to make it this far without

 the guidance of my teachers and the support of my family. If I have learned anything in my life that I

could teach to others, it would be to never give up on your passions and your dreams.

Never take for granted all the sacrifices that your parents have made,

and all the knowledge your teachers have shared with you.

To be awarded Dancer of the Year not only is a huge accomplishment for me, but it also reflects the

dedication of my teachers and my parents. I would like to thank all of them for making me the dancer and

 the person I am today. I would never have been able to do it without every single one of them.

Someone once said, “We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears,

we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams."
